El
Seminario de Filosofía y
Ciencia Cognitivas se
lleva a cabo desde febrero de 2009 en el edificio de estudios
filosóficos del Centro de Estudios Filosóficos,
Políticos y Sociales Vicente Lombardo Toledano. El
propósito es analizar los fundamentos teóricos de
diversas ciencias cognitivas, poniendo especial énfasis en
los
fundamentos biológicos que han sido tomados en
cuenta para explicar funciones cognitivas como la
percepción, el
lenguaje, el razonamiento, la memoria y las emociones. Este
análisis se compone de al menos dos estudios: por un lado,
se
revisan los presupuestos metodológicos y, por
otro, se
investigan las relaciones epistémicas (en sentido
amplio)
entre las
diversas ciencias cognitivas.
